Following the 1993 review

In 1993 the DCM was discontinued and replaced by the CGC

the Air Force Medal was awarded to non-commissioned personnel

it also became available to Army and RAF officers serving aboard naval vessels

OSM Sierra Leone Medal with Rosette Campaign_Boer War to WW1 Following the 1993 reviewOperational Service Sierra Leone. Awarded for service from 2000 in Sierra Leone. Those who took part in Operations Barras and Maidenly were granted a silver rosette to be worn on the ribbon of the medal.
