King George V authorised the issue of the Memorial Plaque to commemorate members of the British and Commonwealth forces who died as a result of the conflict
On 19th October 1919 the King announced the award of a clasp with the dates 5th Aug-22nd Nov 1914 to those that had actually served under fire between those dates
EFFICIENCY DECORATION Post 1982 Wholesale Should the qualifying period beTerritorial Decoration awarded with the green ribbon with central yellow stripe until 1982 when it was combined into a single Decoration emcompassing the AER and T&AVR, the ribbon was then standardised to half blue half green with a central yellow stripe. This can also be awarded with the HAC ribbon to members of the HAC who qualify for the award.
