The fit and finishings, like the two needle chainstitch construction, are reminiscent of work shirts from the 1950's. The pattern for this shirt is based on a check shirt from the 1960s made by King Kole, woven with three colors in both warp and weft. At first glance it appears two toned, but the base actually uses two additional colors.
