Commissioned and premiered at Skallsj church's 150th anniversary in 2013. Inspiration for the music comes from the new and unique light tower that was built when the church was reopened in 2011. The mass consists of three main parts: Darkness The light of Heaven The light over the congregation and the church, with an opening Prelude and a closing Postlude. The music is based on a motif
